About us

The sponsor of the daycare is the association Day Care Center Pinocchio Müntschemier, based in Müntschemier.

We take care of children from 4 months until they enter kindergarten. The well-being of each child and respect for his individuality are the focus of care. The children are offered an open atmosphere with trusting relationships as well as an environment that allows for a variety of actions, offers challenges and sustainably supports the children in their own learning process.

Foreign-speaking children are encouraged to learn the German language with regard to kindergarten and school entry and are made known with our values and customs.

The children are cared for on the mixed-age group “Falke” (about 2.5 years until kindergarten entry) and on the group “Schwalbe” (4 months to about 2.5 years). On the groups there are 3 to 4 carers (including 1 trainee or one trainee and 2 specialist child care child) who are concerned for the well-being of your child.

Meals:
A hot lunch is prepared in the daycare by a cook and the snacks are prepared by the staff. A healthy and varied diet is taken into account. The menu plans are compiled according to the criteria of “Fourchette verte”.

Our offer

Our daycare center is open 11.75 hours a day on at least 235 operating days from Monday to Friday (06.45 -18.30). Company holidays are part of the annual planning that parents receive from us at the end of November.

The registered children are present in the daycare on fixed days. We offer a range of care from 20 – 100, i.e. min. two half days or a whole day until max. 5 days a week.

The following hours of care are offered per day:

• full day: 06.45-18.30
• Morning without lunch: 06.45-11.30
• Morning with lunch: 06.45-13.45
• Afternoon without lunch: 1-6.30 p.m.
• Afternoon with lunch: 11.30am-6.30pm

In principle, there is the possibility that kindergarten children can attend the daycare. The children are picked up in the kindergarten at the primary school in Müntschemier and can also have lunch in the daycare.
